Natural hydrolytic ageing of PA6 and bio-reinforced composites

نویسندگان

چکیده

Hydrolytic ageing or hydrolysis is the destruction of chemical bonds by action water. Among polymers most affected are polyamides, since PA6 hygroscopic, due to amide groups. with its interesting technical applications could be found in humid environments, which probably impedes durability. The estimation modifications that undergo has attracted attention several research subjects, have recorded a deterioration mechanical and thermal properties. objective this study compare hydrolytic composites reinforced peanut shell powder (PSP), olive pomace (OPP), plaster (PL). aim evaluate impact reinforcements on composite. weight changes, structural properties, morphology were monitored related modification polymer encountered during process thanks gain, DRX SEM methods.

Fabrication and Testing of Natural Fiber Reinforced Hybrid Composites

Work has been carried out to investigate the flexural properties of composites made by reinforcing banana and pineapple as the new natural fibers into epoxy resin matrix. The natural fibers were extracted by retting and manual process. The composites are fabricated using banana and pineapple fiber reinforcements. Hybrid composites were prepared using banana/pineapple fibers of 0/40, 15/25, 20/2...

Acoustic properties of 3D printed bio-degradable micro-perforated panels made of Corkwood Fiber-Reinforced composites

Introduction: Micro perforated panel (MPP) absorbents promise the next generation of sound absorbers as they have significant advantages over other porous adsorbents. In this study, we will investigate the acoustic performance of MPP absorbents made of biodegradable polylactic acid composite reinforced with natural corkwood fibers (PLA/Corkwood) by 3D printing technology. Material and Methods:...

Development and Characterization of Polymer Eco-Composites Based on Natural Rubber Reinforced with Natural Fibers

Natural rubber composites filled with short natural fibers (flax and sawdust) were prepared by blending procedure and the elastomer cross-linking was carried out using benzoyl peroxide. The microbial degradation of composites was carried out by incubating with Aspergillus niger recognized for the ability to grow and degrade a broad range of substrates. The extent of biodegradation was evaluated...
